In that time, we have put together a network of approved and vetted suppliers and installers of quality windows, doors and glazed extensions throughout London and Surrey.

The idea of a unique online quotation service came about when we attended two site visits in South-East London. Two separate homeowners had recently purchased new hardwood sliding sash windows from two separate suppliers, and they had both received draughty, noisy and poor quality windows from day one.

Disappointingly, the local companies that had installed these poor-quality windows had charged a premium. They’d even fitted and finished them to a low standard! Sadly, the companies were not responsive to the clients’ complaints and both clients were replacing their windows within six months of installation, much to their anguish and additional expense.

Fortunately, we were able to advise the clients about which frames and glass were best suited to their specific longevity and performance needs. We also put them in touch with trusted installers who did a great job of installing them. From this chance encounter, we launched London Timber Windows and Doors Ltd with the aim of connecting customers to quality suppliers of timber, aluminium, composite and uPVC products.
